Current limitations

Known limitations of this version. Details are under “Known issues” on the Support page.

  • On some phones, fine volume steps can be uneven with MP3, AAC and similar formats.
  • On Android 9 and later, some items in “Device & audio” can’t be read.
  • Some devices don’t recognize a USB DAC even when USB host support is shown. On older devices, a DAC that draws its power from the phone may not be recognized.
  • DoP is not supported for USB DACs.
  • On Android 4.0, update checks, gapless playback between tracks played by Android’s own player, and MP3/AAC playback through a USB DAC are not available.
